Siemens SINAMICS G120 — F07011 Motor Overtemperature
Raised when the motor thermal model or sensor (PTC/KTY/PT1000) reports overtemperature. Caused by overload or poor motor cooling.

Symptoms
- F07011 under long/high load
- Motor body noticeably hot
- Early trip with the sensor connected
Probable Causes
- Mechanical overload on the motor
- Insufficient motor fan/cooling
- Wrong sensor type setting (p0601)
- Sensor wiring short/open
Checkpoints
- Measure motor load and current
- Check the motor cooling fan
- Verify sensor type (p0601) and wiring
- Measure sensor resistance
Solution
If mechanical load and cooling are fine, verify sensor type/wiring. A wrong p0601 setting is a common false-alarm cause.
