Yaskawa · A1000Fault Code oCCritical
Yaskawa A1000 — oC Overcurrent
Occurs when output current exceeds the hardware limit. Motor/cable short, short ramp or output-stage failure trigger it.
Updated: 2026-07-05
Symptoms
- oC at start/acceleration
- Immediate fault with motor connected
- May clear when tested without motor
Probable Causes
- Motor cable short / ground fault
- Too-short accel time (C1-01)
- Output stage (IGBT) failure
Checkpoints
- Megger the motor and cable
- Increase accel time (C1-01)
- Run without motor to assess the output stage
Solution
If the no-motor test still shows oC, the power board (IGBT + gate driver) is tested in the lab.
